Question of a German dealer

#1 Beitrag von aphex » 25. Jun 2006 23:13

Hi to you all!
Fun to see more xt660 forums :gut: Where searching German Ebay for a new exhaust to my Yamaha and found this dealer http://www.zimo-motorrad.de who had very good price on LeoVince X3 slip-on  If you compare to swedish prices.
My german is not to good so I just wondered if it is a polite dealer to shop from. I also wonder if it tells you something about shipping prices outside Germany? Or if You know a better dealer to shop from of course

Cheers!!

Mattias from Sweden

Thanks for quick answer!

Hmm, I got a mail from Zimo and it would cost me 445:- euro including shipping. Around 200:- euro cheaper than in expensive Sweden
I´ve sent a mail also to bikes and carparts to see if they could match this price. Hopefully they can
Thanks for helping me sorting it out. I get in touch again if I need language support from you!

The dealers are very fast to answer questions in Germany :zustimm:
I´ll think I will move to Germany soon
Anyway I got a better price from bike & parts, thanks Jörg!
Total amount of 430 Euro. That is very good deal I think.
Is this a polite dealer you can trust? Don´t really like prepaying money and get bluffed of course.

Hi !

Yes, you can trust the dealer ! Many Users from here bought their exhaust at carandbikeparts.de. The deal is fair because the shipping costs are expensive, i think.

Our Community gets special prices at this dealer and there are no problems at all.

Not only the dealers but also the soccer players are fast in Germany :freude:

Go to the Downloads&Links and you can hear the Sound of the Leos, but in my mind the live Sound is very much better, i like the shooting of the Leo.

Yeaay! Visited their homepage yesterday and heard the soundclip!
A litte bit echo in the clip. Probably because they recorded it in the tuning bench
Today I was out riding some dirty roads, wich I think is very fun. Have riding 2 stroke dirtbikes for a while and I´m quit impressed of the Yamaha. No probs at all to ride pretty fast and safe with the front Pirelli and rear Michelin pilot road :P A fine allroad bike.
Also did a pleasant trip to my parents that lives about 400 kilometers from me last month.

If you like to ride "Dirttracks" you have to try the Maxxis or Pirelli MT60 Tires!!! These Tires gives you grip on dirty or wet roads it´s unbelievebal!
I increased my CO 13 points but with original Mufflers!!

You have to try it with the CO!!

Good luck....

hi guys,

like schroedi said, for dirttracks and "light" off-road rides, i recommend
the pirelli MT60. it's unbelievable how good and easy these tires can do a perfekt job on tarmac AND on loose underground.

they're on wet roads the best i've ever ridden. if you don't have any specifications in your bike's license about the tires, put 'em on - you'll
be not disapointed.

the only worst thing is - the don't last over 3500km. but it's worth it - the xt is a complete different bike with this ones... :gut:

greetings from greece, christos

Ok thanks!
I will try the "trial and error" method with the CO
Is it Maxxis goldspeed intermediates the tires you are talking about?
Was about to try them before I decided to buy the Michelin pilot road.
I´ll think I will try one of them when I switch next time.
Have heard here in Sweden that many people that rides KTM don´t like the original MT60 so much. But they probably rides and "pose" on tarmac most of the time
Dirt is the shit!
